My Thoughts

This book had me on the edge of my seat, chills running down your spine and you'll feel like you aren't able to read fast enough. It was captivating and this book was totally fitting when it said that the book to be Black Swan meets Pretty Little Liars sometimes it reminded me of The Lying Games to. This book would be a huge treat for all those who love Jennifer L. Armentrout’s book; (someone like me ;) who is obsessed with all of JLA’S books and when I got an ARC I was so happy about it); I literally could not put it down. That’s why this book should get not just a 5 star review but a 6 star review.

So be prepared when you start the book that you won’t be able to put it down and I advise you should not start it before bed because you will not sleep that night. I fell head first into Sam’s story so yeah the story did not start of slowly for me. I have read lots of books with characters that captivated me but it was nothing like this, I felt crazy right along with Sam and you tried to think all the different things at what might have happened that night but you could never figure out what happened right up until the end.

Jennifer leaves you second guessing yourself throughout the whole book. This book was a perfect pace, there was never a lull in the book and never too much going on that you get confused. I never wished for more or something to happen differently. Now when it comes to the characters then I can say is that you will love them all.

Samantha was just the perfect lead in the book, she was so real and I cheered her on while she had amnesia especially when she turned her back on her old life.  Scott and Julie are amazing and supportive and I wished I had a twin brother like Scott. He is fiercely protective over his sister and there relationship is just so special and he is not like how normal brothers are. Wish I could say anything without giving away spoilers……. Now we come to Carson, he is also fiercely protective and he trust Sam with everything. He helps her figure out what happened that night. I swooned every time he was on the page and I might add he is H.O.T.  Breathtakingly so!!!!

For once I wish we can give more than 5 stars because this was a real amazing book.

My Thoughts

This book was a bit slow for me and some eye rolling moments. I hate giving less than stellar reviews but sadly this could only get a 3/ 2.5 stars.

This book was not one of my favorites it was okay. It started off a little slow where you were trying to figure out what Alexandra's little secret was and if she will get over the fear. She decided to leave New York and go live with her aunt and start a new life where she met annoying friends for my taste and a hot guy. The moment Blaise and Alexandra met was like intent love for them. They did not show it at first but both where craving each other and both was keeping secrets from each other.

There relationship involves fast and slow  and I wanted to kill Blaise every time he lied to Alexandra I mean this secret is huge. He has a girl living with him and they dated each other, the rest of the town still thinks they dating and thats how he should keep it. Anyway, this all comes to a head and much to their mutual devastation. They break-up. No-one knows the truth in why he has to stay by his girlfriend and they have to keep it that way.  The book ends with a cliff hanger - and despite my constant eye-rolling and sighing throughout... I want to see what will happen next.

My Thoughts:

This book was really amazing and entertaining. It’s nothing what I expectant it would be. The first book Foreplay was really amazing and I loved every moment of it and now we get to know Emerson even better now.

Unlike normal New Adult books with rich girls I did not find Emerson annoying like normal rich girls. I actually liked her and she was not bratty either and she did not make people feel less superior. She is a good friend. The reasons why she was like that know as Emerson the tease was quite obvious why she acted like that and Shaw saw right through her act. She was independent and she really did not like to depend of anyone.

Shaw was smoking sexy hot guy who saw through her act. He also was sweet and confident. Sophie Jordan knows just how to write her male characters in the books, he persuaded Emerson just enough and he knew when to back off. There relationship was sweet   and loving and it worked so well. They cared about each other even if Emerson denied him 85% of the book.

I really did wish there was a bit more information of the relationship between Emerson and her Mom, but I still loved this book and it was very well written.

Now I cant wait for the final book, Wild. Georgia and Logan finally!
